Brian Arthur

Brian Arthur

Brian Arthur:  1935 – 2022.  RIP Friend.

Brian passed away peacefully in his sleep in early November, with his wife Paula at his side.  He was 87 years of age, thoroughly likeable, and an expatriated Brit to his core.  He loved the natural world, football (soccer), Tea, Cadbury Chocolates, and most of all Life!

In his memory, his wife Paula, has agreed to produce some sculptures, and close out previously announced and created Editions within their respective Edition sizes.  If the piece is not on hand, or in process, then it will be made: 4 weeks or less.

Artistic mastery, structural perfection and a deep reverence for ,our vanishing natural world: these are the hallmarks of the Living Series of naturalistic bronzes by noted British sculptor Brian Arthur. Whether gracefully fluid in motion, or magnificently majestic in repose, these sculptures of herons, pelicans, dolphins, and much more serve as inspiring reminders of the living Art that exists all around us. Each stage in the bronze process is done by hand, and as such is a rare opportunity to own a piece of decorative art that will give pleasure for a lifetime.

Each bronze sculpture is then signed and numbered with a limited edition number. Patinas (colors) are applied at the Foundry.[/read]
